Frequently Asked Questions
Being comfortable from the moment you walk in the office until the moment you leave is our biggest priority. These answers should help put you at ease on what to expect at GVCC.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Currently, the easiest way to make an appointment is to call the office. The office manager will get you in as quickly as possible to help you reach your health goals.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, both chiropractors are in network with Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. All other other companies would be considered out of network. We do accept Medicare patients.
What does the adjustment do?
The goal of the adjustment is to restore normal motion to a joint. This can happen in any joint in your body, not just the spine. We are not moving bones or changing alignment.
How long is each appointment?
Each new patient is scheduled for 45 minutes. Standard follow ups are 15 minutes. If you have a new complaint, be sure to mention this when you call to make an appointment so we can schedule 30 minutes to do an updated exam.
What if I don't like to hear the "crack" sound?
Both chiropractors will only perform treatments you are comfortable with. There are other options for care in our office that do not include the audible "crack." Your clinician will discuss these options with you at your appointment.
Who benefits from chiropractic care?
People of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care. Our chiropractors have treated patients from just a few days old until well into their 90's. Joint and muscular health are important at all ages and stages.
